Burlesque is ‘the Art of the Tease’ it can be sexy, funny, dramatic or all of the above. Basically a form of variety theatre with a touch of striptease thrown in. It can involve acting, singing or dancing and the wonderful thing about it, it's open to interpretation, anything goes, allowing performers to express themselves in anyway they chose.

Our burlesque classes focus on movement, dance and body posturing with a little ‘strut your stuff’ attitude thrown in. Learn how to use props such as chairs, tulle boas, long gloves and hats. You don’t need to be a dancer there is no complicated choreography just leave your inhibitions at the door. Get ready to have some flirtatious fun and learn how to let your body do the talking! By the end of each class we aim to have everyone feeling confident, empowered and read to take on the world! Leggings and trainers are fine to wear but feel free to to dress it up if you fancy with a pair of heels or a fun pair of frilly knickers! Booking essential - our burlesque class in 6 weekly blocks.
